Falcon stand

Client: Cortexplore

Year: 2024-

Cortexplore builds tools for studying the mechanisms of the brain. They designed a novel neuronavigation system with high precision and reliability. Five cameras are 'watching' the tool in the surgeon's hand.

Our task with Medical Cart Company was to make a moving stand that included a housing of five cameras. The stand had to be height adjustable with tilting camera housing. Cable management was also essential.

FIRST PROTOTYPE - September 2024

Presentation of the first concept:

After the approval of the concept we detailed the project. A fifth camera had to be added to the top. We optimized the column structure and added a foot switch for the gas spring.

We designed over 40 components for this project:

Most of the manufactured parts were CNC machined. Then we powder coated and assembled the stand in our warehouse.

Photos of the stand. The client made a quick presentation of the system using the freshly assembled prototype. We proudly saw that it worked just as it should be working.
